Xaar Inkjet technology drives innovation at FESPA 09

xaar, leading independent printhead manufacturer and fespa global technology partner, shows its full range of binary and greyscale inkjet printheads at fespa digital in may (stand m80), including the european debut of two new next generation binary printheads.

market interest in xaars ground-breaking greyscale printheads is huge and manufacturers have quickly developed leading edge printers to maximise their capabilities. this is demonstrated in the high number of new xaar-enabled printers being shown at fespa digital this year. several of these machines are making their global debut at the show, including the atlantic zeiser gamma 70 print module, the mprint sp2 100 printer and the revolutionary one solution vega uv flatbed printer.

other companies exhibiting at fespa digital this year, who integrate xaar printheads into their products, include: agfa, grapo, hp, mutoh, rodin. these companies will be joined by nearly all of xaars approved ink partners, who will also be present at the show. the number of xaar approved ink partners at the show is an endorsement to xaars open ink policy and is xaars way of ensuring the widest range of choice for its printhead users.

twelve new printers incorporating the xaar proton and electron printheads were recently launched at sign china. several of these are expected at fespa digital, including the four-colour hybrid roll and sheet-fed yat fung infiniti printer and the rodin hijet printer. the launch of the new entry-level, high-speed xaar electron and the new premium print quality, high-productivity, xaar proton, set new standards in wide and grand-format printing performance. they are ideal for the production of indoor and outdoor graphics printed on a variety of materials including: paper, pvc flex bannber, film, mesh fabrics and vinyl.
